Postage

External mail will be delivered to the College either via the pigeon holes for letters, which are located outside the Shincliffe Room near reception, or to our reception team for parcels who will organise postage for each individual student. Students are able to collect their post from reception at the following times;

  • Before 11am
  • Between 4:30pm and 6:30pm
  • After 8:30pm

You should list your address on any postage you are due to receive in the following format:

Medical Information:

One of your top priorities is to register with doctors at a local medical practice so that you can access healthcare in Durham when you need it. This is especially important if you have an ongoing health condition or require repeat medication and for support with vaccinations.

Residence Fees

You are able to choose how you pay your residence fees:

  • Pay in 1 instalment at the beginning of the academic year
  • Pay in 3 instalments by cheque or credit card at the beginning of each term
  • Pay in 8 instalments by direct debit from a UK bank account (1st Dec to 1st July)

Please note that your payments will automatically default to 3 instalments unless you make alternative arrangements with the College Finance Office in advance.

  • Wire Transfer
  • Internet Banking
  • EasyTransfer (for International Students)

ID Verification

Please note: in order to register you must bring with you your passport or photographic UK driving licence. UK students without either document can bring an original birth certificate.

  • You must bring a government issued Photo ID
  • Previous Durham University Students (for example, if you completed a course last year) must bring their old Campus Card with them as this must be collected before your new card can be issued
