BA Anthropology (L602)

In the BA Anthropology single honours degree programme we offer a range of modules which will engage you with the fascinating discipline of anthropology.

In the first two years, students receive a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of anthropology in the broadest sense, addressing the core disciplines of social and biological anthropology as well as a number of challenging interdisciplinary approaches to culture, society and health. In the third year, students tailor the course to their own maturing interests by selecting the modules that appeal most in terms of interest and career planning.

I really enjoyed the social anthropology side of the degree with the political anthropology modules suiting my interest in politics. My third-year dissertation was particularly interesting. I had fantastic supervision whilst being encouraged to pursue totally independent study.
