Our overarching aim is to give every student who attends the Department an educational experience that equals or betters that obtainable at any other institution. In addition to large-group lectures, we pride ourselves on the small group teaching we provide via tutorials, workshops, and group work projects and our open-door policy is valued by staff and students. 

We strive to promote pedagogical research in chemistry, via the Enhancing Pedagogy in Chemistry (EPiC) team.
